chapter one

They say there once was only two people male and female. It was just them, their domains, and nothing else. Sol was the name of the male. He was the sun god. He was arrogant, selfish, and cruel with a beard of pure fire, eyes like lava, and robes so hot and blinding if you looked directly at them you would remain blind forever. Luna was the name of the female. She was the goddess of the moon. She was sweet, kind and gentle with a completion so pale it was silver with eyes as silver as the moon with a dress of all the galaxy's you could ever imagine. One day long ago they decided to create the world and all that was in it. Putting a bit of themselves in everything or just making one thing in their own image. They created three realms, the earth realm with guardians of sprites and peaceful elves, the water realm of naiads, and the sky realm of wind spirits and cloud people. When they were done they saw everything.  It was beautiful, but something was missing so they created humans each having a piece of each Luna and Sol inside them.  When it was all done they returned to their domains peacefully, but Sol having fallen in love with Luna faked being kind and loving and eventually convinced her to marry him. Luna became pregnant with twins, one boy and one girl, but before they were born Sol revealed his true nature. Frightened and heartbroken she fled to the farthest corner of the earth fearing for her and the children’s lives. Sol driven blind by anger created creatures of fire to hunt her down. Luna hid in a small cave on the edge of the earth and gave birth to the twins, but she couldn't hide forever. Sol found them and released his anger upon Luna, taking the boy away from her, Luna barely escaping with her life fled with the girl. They say she lives in hiding among the humans to this very day.
